The Perfect Place, Green Communities

Let’s just say, you could begin with a blank slate, have the home of your dreams in a community that’s as concerned about the environment and the future of your children as you are. Imagine a community with green space, and walking paths through forests and meadows, a place for picnics, and possibly a place to ride horses along tree-canopied trails.

You may want to live in a place where your quality of life would be extraordinarily high as well as feeling a sense of community. Where the principles of sustainability touch everything from your homes construction to the organic produce your family enjoys grown by one of your neighbors.

If this sounds like your perfect place to live, we want to help you find a green community to fulfill that dream.

  1. My family has been looking for a community like this in North Carolina, how many are there? Are there more green communities coming to the Carolinas?
    Thank you, Lou Doran

  2. sounds like a great idea…anything like that in North or South Carolina? If not yet how soon?

  3. Donna,

That is what we are hoping to do, create a pleasent internet experience for people like yourself to locate communuities in North and South Carolina!.
Take a look at the green community listed in North Carolina. http://www.greenecocommunities.....ina/1.html

  4. Is this UTOPIA? sounds great! I wish these communities were more prevalent all over the USA, I have been watching ‘Planet Green’ and we plan for our next house to be a green home like George W. Bushes!

  5. Places like this are available in & around NC, but you need big bucks to purchase & to live they, so it kinda defeats the purpose if everyone can’t afford to live there.

  6. sounds like a great place to live.When can I move in?Jim

  7. Jim,

Let me know where you are located, and perhaps we can locate a green community for you.

  8. Debbie,

Nice comment. It certainly does cost a little more to live in a Sustainable Community, most things organic and “green” do, give it time, and notoriety that hopefully we can give, and maybe the price of being eco conscious will not break the bank!

Thanks again Debbie, we appreciated your comment!

  9. Green Eco Voice;

I was very impressed with this post. I’m concerned for our environment and my families future.
I’d want to live in a green community where their quality of life, “would be extraordinarily high as well as feeling a sense of community.”

I’m worried about my children’s future and these projects will strongly support the principles of sustainability for generations ahead.

Thank you for getting the word out, and I’d like to place a link on my Website directing interest your way.

  10. Donald, thanks for your great comment. The future is now, and if we can spread the word about sustainable communities and their benefits, then we will do just that. We are not too far off where these type of communities will exist all over the country, just hang tight, and check back on our main site, perhaps one will show up in CT!

  11. WOW! I’m hooked. Sorry I am not looking. My wife is an architect and tries to do everything as ecological sound as possible. She went to UCBerkley (figures) although she is practical.
We have been in construction for over 20 years. (4 places) and this is the LAST. I am going to be buried green, right in my own back yard.
    Very very nice advertising.

  12. Edward,

Glad to have you visit our blog! Sounds like you are living the “Green” life! You wouldn’t happen to know The Eco Realtor named Jane in Asheville?
    Thank you Edward.
