Green Life

Sustainability in all aspects of life is here to stay. Individually we play an integral part in preserving the planet and securing it’s resources for our children’s future.
Today businesses, organizations and service industries have begun participating in environmentally-friendly activities to ensure that they have adequately addressed environmental concerns. When we promote sustainability within a business it creates value for customers, investors, and our environment.

A sustainable business or service meets the needs of the planet by treating the environment well. Below are 5 of my favorite eco-friendly businesses or services that focus on educating, supporting and preserving our environment.

  1. Thank you for bringing attention to the vital importance of companies to do everything possible to reduce harm to the environment! Pro-actively implementing programs and processes that will reduce and/or element damage to the environment on an ongoing basis is crucial.

At Avasiare, it’s truly a matter of the heart. Not only do we attempt to reduce our carbon footprint on the earth in our daily lives and in our homes, we continually look for ways to reduce our carbon footprint as a business.

As we face the future, it is so important for all of us to become increasingly aware of the various ways we can reduce our imprint on the world around us. For our children and future generations beyond. Thank you again for bringing attention to such a vitally important issue!

  2. This is so informative and needed! Keep up the good work!!

  3. Thank you for presenting those sites. I am guessing that some of them are new, but they are also very developped and informative!

I must also say that the image of the frog gripping on planet earth is really cute!

  4. GreenBiz is a good one. I hope you’ll look into Everblue as a respectable LEED education provider!!

  5. Great post…Thank you!

The social and economic dimensions of sustainability are easily overlooked with the environmental dimension seeming to get most of the attention. Balance and harmony within and among all three dimensions are needed.

    Thanks again!

  6. Thank you Anto!

Yes, many businesses are striving to be sustainable and we’re looking forward to promoting them.

2010 is off to a great start.

Frogs are a favorite of mine, and this one was especially cute.
